Canine Capers

Rent-a-field for your dogs to run around is becoming very popular in the UK. There is one at the top of my mother’s road and we went twice. The first time just to try it out and the second time to meet up with a friend and her gorgeous dogs, Boomer and Phyllis. I reserved the 2-acre field as I didn’t want to overwhelm Goa with 4 acres to run around in!

The first visit had to be postponed as the battery died in my car. I hadn’t realised that they need changing every so often. I gather 11 years for a car battery is incredible. Anyway thanks to the RACE and Halfords, we were soon back on the road.

The flying Leelo

The three had great fun and it was a bonding exercise between Leelo and Thai.

Slightly different story with Goa… She was happy sniffing, but she had NEVER been in a field before.

At least I managed to get a photo of Goa and Leelo ‘together’

A week later we met up with Jayne and Boomer and Phyllis.

Great facility and will be on my list for our next visit. Might even see how Goa deals with 4 acres!
